Downloading the app allows you to access information about local food pantries as well as place orders for pick-up at certain locations.

City Harvest
City Harvest provides a map that shows locations currently distributing food, free of charge, throughout NYC. These sites include soup kitchens, food pantries, community fridges, and mobile markets.
Food Help NYC
This map is put together and maintained by the City and you can put in your address and it will give you food pantries and resources near you and the details about each location.
Market by Met Council
Market by Met Council’s map shows food pantries were you can order food items and arrange a time for pickup.
You do need to create an account on their website and read the details of how their system works in order to place orders.

This website allows you to search by zip code to find resources in all different categories, so you can look under the “Food” section for information about pantries.
