What a summer! We’ve just wrapped up one-on-one meetings with our members, and it felt so good to connect with everyone and dive into how we can support them. These conversations laid the foundation for personalized plans focused on education, financial stability, and long-term empowerment.
We wish we could share all the high points with you now but we’ll save those stories for later!
Next up: the work begins.
As new volunteer opportunities arise, we’ll highlight them in our monthly newsletters—and we may reach out directly to a few of you with a special proposition! We’ll also keep you updated on our progress as things unfold.
It’s exciting to finally be at this moment. We’ve been planning for it for years, and now we’re ready to move forward—together.

Community Voices
Keyanna is a proud holder of a Brooklyn Library Card. Over the past few weeks, she has been setting up the Libby app, learning the process for borrowing books, and discovering all the perks of having a library card.
One perk in particular is Culture Pass. She’s excited to start exploring the city!

Bric Video Editing with Premiere!
Three of us have been plugging along in a Premiere class at Bric. We have all come so far, (V1 + A1 = Interview, V2 + A2 = B Roll, where we can stretch the limits of our creativity!) and we’re pretty proud of ourselves. We have so much more to learn, but we feel confident and prepared to tackle the first YouTube posting which will come to your inbox in the next few months!
