2016 : Red Hook Community Farm

On April 16, 2016 Junket and friends spent the day cleaning up the Red Hook Community Farm through New York Cares Spring Clean Up Day, where 4,000 volunteers cleaned up 75 sites across New York City. We lent a hand by sifting almost 60 cubic feet of compost personally, and 100+ cubic feet as a group! Red Hook Community Farm is the site of the largest renewable energy compost site in the country, running on solar, wind, and human power. We were honored to help clean up such a great green space!
